Irish Medtech Skillnet EMCC Accredited Mentor Training Programme

This programme will be delivered via five training sessions, interspersed with tutorials, spread across 11 weeks. Attendance is required for the three in-person sessions in the Clayton Hotel Galway, Ballybrit, Galway, H91 D526.

Online sessions are recorded to allow flexibility

Accreditation Options

Option 1. Certificate of Attendance: This requires attending all in-person & online workshops

Option 2. EMCC Quality Award in Mentoring at Diploma level: This requires attendance at all workshops plus completion of assigned reading, quizzes, and skills practice

Option 3. EMCC Professional Mentor at Foundation Level: Option 2 requirements plus completion of relevant hours of mentoring experience. Experience can be completed up to 6 months post-programme or can be recognised from 2 years prior to the course*.

Option 4. EMCC Professional Mentor at Practitioner Level: Option 3 requirements plus completion of additional relevant hours of mentoring experience. Experience can be completed up to 6 months post-programme or can be recognised from 2 years prior to the course*.



*Structured RPL form is required to be completed to gain recognition of prior experience
